About Ray's Pizza

New York Style Pizza by the slice Made in Irvine since 1989

Ray's Pizza is a pizza restaurant in Irvine, California. It is listed at 4199 Campus Dr Suite D, Irvine, CA 92612, which places it among the local businesses of Irvine that residents and visitors turn to when they need this kind of service close by.

Pizza places in the United States run from a counter with two stools and a stack of boxes to a full sit-down pizzeria with a bar, and most neighborhood shops do all three things at once: dine-in, takeout and delivery. Ordering by phone is still common and often faster than an app, and many independents charge less when you call direct because there is no platform fee. Sizes are usually listed in inches (a small around 10", a large 14", an extra-large 16" or more), and a large feeds two to three adults. Slices are sold from a display case at New York-style counters and reheated to order; whole pies take 15-25 minutes at a busy shop. Most spots take cards and mobile pay, though a few older pizzerias remain cash-only, so check the door or the listing before you order.

The business lists hours on 7 days of the week. On most of those days it is open 11 am–7 pm. As with most places, expect changes around holidays; the phone number below is the fastest way to confirm. You can reach Ray's Pizza at (949) 854-5044; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions. Its website is rayspizzainc.com, where you may find menus, price lists or booking options.

Customers rate it 4.5 out of 5 on Google across 228 reviews, placing it among the better-regarded pizza restaurants in Irvine.

This is a great pizza place - i used to frequent, when i was a student at UCI. I would be a student all over again just to have this pizza. The place has a special something about it, it's like visiting New York and chatting with the friendly locals and local business owners, truly welcoming and care about their customers. That's why they have stayed in business all these years! it's a superb customer service! The best customer service around campus.

One of our favorite pizza places. The crust is so good, thin, and crispy. The ratio of crust, sauce, and cheese are perfect. All the posts on the restaurant wall show Ray originally opened up in New York and you can taste it in his pizza. He is such a sweet man too and it adds so much to our experience here. *They also have street fighter and ninja turtle original arcade games which is cool to play while waiting for your pizza.

My go to pasta place. I like pasta here a lot. Rigatoni with meat sauce is my favorite. The gentleman here is very kind, and every time I place a pick up order my food is packaged so well. Only complaint I have is that they close so early ;)

Nice spot. The older gentleman at the front taking orders was really nice. There was a special for $10.50 for two pizza slices and a soda. Pizza was good! There is beer and variety of types of pizza (we had cheese and pepperoni since those were with the special). Will stop by again!

One of the best slices of pizza I’ve had in a long time! The crust was magnificent. The sauce was flavorful without being overwhelming, and the cheese was cooked just right. Definitely going back and trying other varieties.
